Here is my newest baby client for my "God's Little Miracles" Baby Plan. He is sitting up so well at 6 months. A new trick of his, I hear. He was so pleasant. Even with the very HOT temperatures at my home studio. Our air conditioner was on its way of fizzling out when he was here. You'd never know it by his temperment. He had tons of smiles for his mommy & daddy! I'm looking forward to his next visit.

We had a gorgeous summer evening & me and my babe went out for a summer photo shoot. She even tried watermelon for the first time for me!

Then we moved on to a kitty tea party. Kitty wanted nothing to do with it, as I knew would be the case!

Lastly she proudly modeled her dress made by Nanny. Again, we involved another kitty. This girl loves her kitties!

Out Like a Light

I've always heard the expression "out like a light", but I've never seen it demonstrated so beautifully as by this little 3 month old fellow. He arrived wide awake and full of smiles. He was in a GREAT mood. His mommy changed him into this outfit, gave him his binky to stop his complaining about having to change outfits, laid him down on my beanbag and he shut his eyes. We thought it was from the bright lights, but no....he was asleep! Sound asleep!!! His mommy & I laughed as we just sat there and watched him sleep! He did wake up and we have some cute pictures, but this is the first one I've had a chance to work on so far. Doesn't he look so peaceful.

The owner, Alayna Hoop, makes the cutest little hairbows and hats. She is currently updating her website to help her business run smoother or I'd send you right to her site! God has joined us up to work together and we've decided that I will take the pictures that showcase her beautful work! If you are interested, I plan on doing sessions for this during the first couple of weeks of February. All participants will receive a free session and 10 4x6's from the session. I have taken these girls' pictures since they were both newborns! Now at 3 and almost 2, you'd think they would be experts at this. Big sis did fine, but little sis just usually has nothing to do with getting her picture taken. I love her response to "Where is your foot?" It's her newest action. The "I don't know" motion. I am my own grandpa

Confusing title? Well, these kids are my brother's sister in law's children. She is a good friend of mine and we matched up my brother with her sister. The love bug bit and they are married. So these are his nieces & nephew. Before you know it, we can sing the song "I'm my own grandpa." Is that even a song?? Cute little things! You would never know they were dreading picture day! And, you'd never know that right as I arrived at their beautiful house, it began to sprinkle! You'd also never know that the middle one, pulled a weed out from under me & I screamed thinking that I had sat on a snake! Uncle Eric would appreciate that one!

Sunflower Brats

Boy! This was a tough session.I'll just be honest! These children were very bratty and grouchy! In fact, we had to visit this sunflower field TWICE to get a decent picture. Their mother insisted I get something as she has some sort of dream to hang this over her fireplace in her living room. So we tried at session one. No way! They weren't having it! I went back against better judgement only to find them still grouchy three days later! We did manage to pull of a few shots of them. Enjoy your sneak peek Lori!

Ok, so they are my kids! Why is it that my kids make me have the worst sessions ever! The crying! The temper tantrums! The begging and pleading! And then, there the kid's behavior! They must get their brattiness from their dad! It certainly wouldn't be me!!!!!!!! I LOVE them!
